After much debate, a struggle to find substantive reviews of the Achilles kit, some consultation with two mechanical engineers, and a long side by side comparison of a picture of the Achilles kit next to the TMS kit, I elected to save some money and go with the Achilles kit, concluding that the results would likely be similar and I might save time and would save money going this route. My experience with customer service was excellent, the package arrived quickly, and came with adequate instructions, although some supplement from online DIY's helped. Two of the plates did not fit perfectly but were extremely easy to correct (ground down the excess on one, adjusted the position of a hole on another by drilling a bit). I'm very satisfied with my purchase, and though it was imperfect, the cost and service offset this to the degree that I would buy this kit again if I were to get another e46 and would recommend it to anyone else without hesitation
