I’ve tried a couple of questionable methods to reroute the factory coolant hoses with mixed results. (Mostly leaks and bursts… fun times) The solution was simply to delete the spider hose entirely from underneath the intake manifold! Since its a racecar the heater core was already deleted so it was a no bariner to leave the stock hose in. Inexpensive and simple! Recommend in conjunction with “OBD2 to OBD1 Conversion Coolant Hose Adapter for E36 “
