FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Achilles Motorsports is pleased to
announce their entry to the 2013 NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill in Willows,
California.
This year
marks the team’s sixth running of the demanding endurance race.
The returning driver lineup has been
confirmed. Chris Sarian, Jim Stevens, John Longwell, Marc Ghafouri, and VJ
Mirzayan, who have all been coached and trained by Achilles Motorsports, will
aid in piloting the #44 Achilles Motorsports M3 during this year’s race.
Based out of Fresno, California,
Achilles Motorsports is in the business of manufacturing and selling BMW racing
& performance parts. Having just launched their full scale web store
earlier this year with over 800 parts the team strongly believes that testing
in extreme racing conditions is the best way to showcase the quality,
craftsmanship and reliability of their products. Many of which helped lead the
#44 M3 to its podium finish in the E0 class last year at the cars debut race.
This year Achilles Motorsports will
once again be running on Hoosier Racing Tires which were a vital component of their
podium finish last year. They have also enlisted the help of KW Suspensions whose
multiple Nurburgring 24 Hour wins make it a clear choice.
In a race such as the 25 Hours of
Thunderhill the Achilles Motorsports crew also plays a monumental role in the
success of team as a whole. Returning year after year the team’s chemistry is
unlike any other. Each enthusiastic crew member works diligently together around
the clock to keep the car & drivers going.
