For high performance and racing engines we strongly recommend upgrading from OEM type connecting rod bolts to an ARP2000 Connecting Rod Bolt kit to keep your S50B30 & S50B32 Euro engine bearings and caps tight even under the most extreme conditions. ARP Hardware aids in eliminating potential walk and bearing problems. We use ARP hardware in any area it is available for every engine we build. ARP2000 is capable of achieving a clamp load at 220,000 psi. ARP2000 is used widely in all types of racing as an up-grade from 8740 chromoly.
